Anybody run into all the emergency vehicles going into work this morning. They were coming from all directions on West Dodge. Sounds like an officer was shot. But haven’t heard much since.

Sounds like two shooting scenes. Quick trip at 120th where the officer was shot and McDonald’s at 114 and Dodge where another person was shot. Have not received official word if they were related. Sounds like the person shot at McDonald’s was not hurt to bad .

120th and Dodge? Trash?

Not really, I mean, if you are one of those people that are scared to leave your house, I guess maybe...but 120th and dodge is okay.

Omaha is great, big enough not to be hick usa and small enough not to have nose ringed blue hairs.
the best part is the cold weather that runs all the libs out..

Ya I don’t live in Omaha. But what i have heard and seen of Ewing so far It seems like he falls under a Harry Truman democrat type.
Maybe...dude has been in office for like 4 days and the only thing I have heard of is he started to fix some big sinkhole.

I was in Downtown Omaha last winter. This is the first time in my life where I saw open drug use near Charles Schwab Field, and human excrement on the steps of the Children's museum.

I’m not scared to leave home. Me and my best friend wife are always out and about all the time.
You probably just speed on by it, but there’s a little strip from 114th to 120th mostly on the North side of Dodge with some dodgy characters.

The number of panhandling bums has dramatically increased over the past 10 years. Gang violence seems to be increased as well.

He might be a democrat, but I’ve always seen him as being pretty apolitical. He’s been a pretty good administrator through the years and he retained a large part of the previous mayor’s staff, a move which is quite unusual.

Hahaha! Well done!

After the Bud Crawford stuff the police in Omaha are kind of taking a beating. When the chief gave the update on the situation and the officer’s condition he said people need to stop the negative stuff about the cops and stop spreading rumors. Then Ewing spoke he echoed the chiefs sentiments then he said people need keep the political stuff out of it . So you seem to be spot on .

Idk about that. There have been homeless people sleeping in the parks my entire life. Having to dodge human sh@t and p!ss is a new one for me.

Also gang violence is nothing compared to the 80s and early 90s.

42nd and saylor you don't want to buy a house, did'nt want to go to the old liquor store on 16th and Ames on friday night..and 24th and Leavenworth seemed to have drugs in the area. I remember before liberals you could go anywhere downtown, and might be some winos in alleys, and street walkers on dodge....but they were not like the zombie libs around now

not sure how it is now...I don't think omaha's new mayor is 0bama gay sex or biden 200 gendered type lib....people said he's acctually done good work...idk...the old mayor was ok..but she got carried away with some kinda street car deal I guess..I liked zorenski...he the only democrat I would of voted for if I was old enough...
