Johnny Goodman and/or Benson are both under rated

Indian Creek - Pricey, but the best public course in town

Just out of Town

Iron Horse - Ashland
Arbor Links - Nebraska City
How about Elmwood Park? Johnny Goodman didn't have a tee time for the time we wanted, Elmwood looks like it is wide open. What's better Elmwood or Benson?

I'm pretty sure he was joking about Milt's. Indian Creek is airways nice. I would suspect the courses are in great shape right now too.

Iron Horse is a fun course. Quarry Oaks is also right around Ashland to. If you want to trek a little farther Woodland Hills down by Eagle is a nice track. Should be in really good shape with all the rain.

Benson gives you more of a course, and is comparable to Johnny Goodman IMO. Benson is a very good and challenging course. Elmwood is nice, but extremely easy and short.

Pacific Springs is pretty boring, but is okay.

You can try The Pines Country Club too, they may have public tee times. That is a very nice course, and won't be as expensive as Indian Creek

Yeah that's one place I've played in Omaha (Indian Creek), we're planning to play there Thursday afternoon when we get to town. Looking for a place to play Friday that's not too far from downtown (where we're staying).

Bent Tree is not too far from Downtown Omaha... It is in the state known as Iowa though.

Don't forget about courses in Bellevue either... Tregaron, Bay Hills and Willow Lakes

Arbor Links is amazing but good luck getting on now.

Back before it went "private" we would play that course all the time. It was 100 dollars for all you could golf. So we would get in 18, head in, eat, change our soaked freaking shirts, load up with more booze and play another 18...then we would do a quick 9, usually like a scramble format. Fantastic time.

Love Quarry but the blind tee shots get old...Woodland is a great course.

Dodge Riverside would be a good spot to play. Like others have said there is a downside. Iowa.

They have some holes that are effected by the flood right now and you get short changed by playing that course right now..

Bent Tree is the best course in Iowa around the Omaha area...
