Just a wild guess, but I'm betting he's for Big XII expansion. Again I have no inside knowledge but that would be my guess.

I haven't been on here in a while, but I knew this would be a topic. Dead time click bait just like last summer with the impending Big XII expansion that went NO, NO, & NO from Texas's 3 votes. Can't do anything for years anyway.

I posted this over a year ago Haha. The Big 12 is done as a major player in college football by the end of 2022 to mid 2023. The homers on this site unbelievably talked about FSU and Clemson coming to the Big12 LOL!!!
They attatcked me when I posted that Texas actually reached out to the ACC. The ACC was not interested in the LHN and got ND to commit to an ACC only partnership. A very reliable Network Exec told me that to my face.
The homers attacked for no legitimate reason.

ND and West Virginia will be in the ACc in 2025. Texas and Kansas will be in the Big Ten
The rest of the conference is garbage other than OSU and KSU. Leftovers off to PAC or lesser deal.

With the off season we'll be hearing this conference stuff all summer long. However, Oklahoma has grown tiresome - they are like a spoiled kid and I've grown to dislike them.

[roll]It's shocking how little you understand any of this. Talking in absolutes cracks me up. NO ONE has a clue what's going to happen when GOR runs out. The media landscape is evolving so quickly that even the best minds in the business aren't at all sure how it's going to play out more than half a decade down the road. What is factual now is that because of the B12's current flexible structure (outside of LHN) it has the best chance to adapt quickly and effectively.

Im really Disappointed I wanted Bucks take. I guess the Final result of the Ncaa tourney was to traumatic for him. Now if the article would have said Oklahoma loves the big 12 and wants expansion now he would have started at least 5 threads on the topic. Hell if Bob Bowlsby dog told him the big 12 was going to expand that would be good enough for him right?

Did Buck predict that the ACC would own the tourney? No that was you. ACC was a one trick pony and you were wrong once again. ACC 1 B12 9.

My main point was the Big12 would shittt the bed when the chips were on the line. And they did. What a surprise. No conference winner this year but a Natty is a Natty. Who won the Natty this year? Oh the ACC did?

Your main point was the ACC was going to have a "garden party" in the tourney. Outside of UNC, which spent $18,000,000 over the last two years to delay sanctions, the ACC crapped the bed. UNC will likely give back two national titles when the dust settles. But head to head meetings the B12 won 9 of 10. That is domination.

That snippet is based on just idle speculation.
Even if Texas and Oklahoma left together (which is implausible given the objections by legislators from each of those states in which the other schools from their states in the B12 would get shafted), do you really think that OSU, TCU, Baylor, TT, WVU, Kansas State, Kansas, and ISU:
(a) would not be a power 5 conference? Obviously, it wouldn't be a positive thing for WVU, but the other 8 could add Houston and BYU and/or Cincy and still be a good football conference; and/or
(b) could not find homes in another P5 Conference?

Hey tool it was a "block party"! What the hell is a garden party? The ACC crapped the bed. It happens. The Big 12 underachieved as the Tourney progressed. That happens every year. KYS idiot.

Would it be a power conference if Texas and Oklahoma left probably but it would be more dimished than it is now. The payouts would decline along with bowl tie ins. If Oklahoma wants out and it needs to take Okie state because of politics then im sure they can find a home in the pac 12. Its were most of the schools faculty want to go. Most big 12 schools would like to find a new home even though they would never admit it publically.

A power conference is sort of a made up concept. Basically, it's how big your TV contract is. The sort of arbitrary cut line is about $20 million or so to each school annually.

If Texas and Oklahoma lest the Big 12 the AAC would be a better confernce than what would be leftover
