Agreed. That's how I feel about the four
It has really paid off well for Oklahoma to play in the weak Big 12. Its fun to watch them lose every year in the bowl game
I think it would have been very bad for CFB if Georgia got in with 2 losses. May as well just renamed the playoff the SEC invitational. Herbstreit was fellating Georgia hard last night.
Cant do it. If Georgia's only loss was to Bama.,sure. But a 2 loss team can't jump a 1 loss team. Simple as that.
They should just crown Alabama now, no need to even play the games. Even if Bama loses they should still be crowned simply because the “eye test” says they are the best.

I think it would have been very good becuase it would have pissed off some conference comissioners and university presidnets and then they would fix this thing, Expand it to 6, don't need 8, top 2 get a bye. All teams play 9 conference games and can only play one non P5 opponent otherwise you don't qualify.
Georgia would beat both OU and ND so those two deserve a shot and UGA doesn't? That makes a lot of sense.

Georgia lost to LsU by 20 and then did not win their conference championship. They do not deserve a shot at the NC.

Go to 8 team playoff, 9 conference games, and do away with conference divisions. Conference champs w/ 3 at large is the best we could hope for IMO.
Conference champsionships should not be an automatic qualifier. In that case Washington would get in...they lost to Auburn which was a mid pack SEC team this year.

Georgia has to win the SEC first before they can play a OU or a unbeaten Notre Dame..

Why? This makes no sense. I am not saying they are, but Georgia could be the 2nd best team in the country behind the team they just lost to. It should be the 4 best and IMHO I think that is Bama, Clemson, UGA and OU. Yes ND is undefeated and played what in some years would be a tough schedule but the teams on their schedule were not very good this year and they barely beat some of those mediocre teams like Pitt, USC and Vanderbilt.

They do not deserve a shot at the NC. Theiy certainly have proven they arent the best team.
Same with OU and OSU, although OU deserves it more than OSU does.

Georgia has been eliminated from NC consideration. A two loss, non conference champ team does not deseerve a shot. At all.
Could have, should be would have but didn’t.. beating teams like Austin Peay and Massachusetts and Middle Tennessee st looks so impressive...
