Going to be on Flo.Are the matches at the state tournament going to be streamed anywhere and/or archived?
State Fairgrounds, all classes Friday night and Saturday. Is it back to where it used to be? All classes on the same weekend?
Micco, what Sooner recruits are there to look out for?Is it back to where it used to be? All classes on the same weekend?
Where did you see the 28th? I figured the archives would be available sooner than that. The matches on Flo will be archived only, and will be available on the 28th according to the Flo website. Assuming there's an issue with OSSAA on showing them live.
There does seem to be difference from the brackets in that there are only 6 wrestlers in a bracket versus 8 previously. Apparently, you had to take at least 3rd at regionals to get to state. I thought they took 4 from each region in the past. Could be wrong though.State Fairgrounds, all classes Friday night and Saturday.
Somewhere on Flo I thought I saw the 28th once. Dual state as soon as a match was over it seemed like Flo made it available.Where did you see the 28th? I figured the archives would be available sooner than that.
Stillwater tweeted this to watch live. Looks like $11 for a monthly subscription.
wrestle in pig tail matches aren’t in the brackets yet. 4&5 r the pigtails. There does seem to be difference from the brackets in that there are only 6 wrestlers in a bracket versus 8 previously. Now 5 from each regional qualify for state. The 4th and 5th place finishers from each regional wrestle and the winners fill out the 8 man bracket. That is how the tournament kicks off. All 4 and 5 matches. Losers go home. On the OSSAA website brackets it shows those pigtails. There does seem to be difference from the brackets in that there are only 6 wrestlers in a bracket versus 8 previously. You’ll also see in a few brackets where the 3rd place finisher in the regional chose to wrestle in the pigtail to get on the other side of the bracket.wrestle in pig tail matches aren’t in the brackets yet. 4&5 r the pigtails.
Sam Smith won by 3rd period pin, Cael Hughes won by 1st period pin, McComas won by major, Lackett won by 1st period pin, Voinovich won by 2nd period pin, Ferrari won by 3rd period pin, Robb won by 1st period pin and Blankenship won by tech in the 2nd. All of these matches were quarterfinals. Also Goff at 195 won by 1st period pin.Videos are going up on Flo already.
Some people can be negative about anything. How can there be too many pins and how can a pin be tough to watch unless your guy is getting pinned? A pin should be the goal of every wrester and fan.
Ferrari sure is tough, can't believe he's only a sophomore. Also looks like we’ll get the Jordan Williams-Angelo Ferrari match. Angelo beat John Wiley in the semis.
What time are the finals? It looks like Kael Voinovich is in the finals too
Edit: So is Jersey Robb
Thank you!Finals start at 7:30. Sam Smith, Cael Hughes, Zach Blankenship, Jace Roller, and LaDarion Lockett are also in the finals.
Any updates??
Smith lost by decision, Hughes won by major, and Blankenship won a close decision over McComas.Any updates??
