Lamar Stevens picked up his third foul early second half.

they beat Penn Stat earlier this year

At this point, guess we should root for PSU to finish higher than OSU?

No way B1G gets 12 teams in.

Nebraska and Northwestern are out.
Might still be too early to tell who else will be out.

Best guesses?
Those would be the teams we are happy to see lose.

There's a lot of basketball left to play. Too early to start to guess how the standings will end up. Just root for Rutgers to win.

yes...because we can beat PSU on the road. I guess it depends what happens, if we beat OSU, we will want them to do well. I would like to win of those

I think Penn State, Minnesota and Purdue are the most vulnerable right now. I know OSU has been in freefall but they have great net numbers and two quality wins ooc. Watch Michigan because they seem wobbly right now but do have an easier stretch at home to get things back on track.

People keep saying this. I agree 10 or 11 is more likely than 12, but 12 isn't out of the realm of possibility.

After Nebraska and Northwestern, the most likely teams out are Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois.

People are overthinking this.. the only way we don't get in at this point is if we collapse. What the other B1G teams do is almost irrelevant.

Wanted Penn State's season buried today. Oh well. Would be nice if they were softened up when we visit at the end of the season.

I was kind of on the same thought process as this. Would a weaker Big Ten be better for us at this point because if we play the way we can, that means we probably beat more of those teams. We are in a control our own destiny point

Ha...#2 pre season "experts" ...as usual either half the voters are alum, or they thought they were voting for the football team.
You notice as one by one the preseason top teams falter the media narrative is always "it's a crazy season" instead of the obvious "we suck at ranking?"

Pre season rankings are to sell newspapers and magazines....I mean online ads and web subscriptions. It’s based on popularity and prior year results. Just like football don’t pay attention to rankings until half way through the season.
