No offense but Jeter in 2016-17 being the missing piece is highly doubtful. That season was just being plagued by injuries and not being able to get a good chemistry going. Jeter would not be our savior to that season. Also, Bolden wasn’t much of a factor that season like we thought he was going to be, but he did have moments where we thought he might be turning the corner. 2015-16 biggest missing piece was Amile being injured. If Amile hadn’t gotten injured, Duke would have made a deeper run in the tournament, I’m sure.

Good read but the writer fell off a cliff for the 2016-2017 Jeter selection. I don't think he would have made much of a difference. Amile battling injuries that season was a much bigger deal, he seemed to be playing in pain for a lot of that season and wasn't himself past January. Harry not being able to be Harry was also a much bigger deal than Jeter.

The real missing piece in the 16-17 season was better shoes. Half the team had leg/foot injuries.
