Could he be choosing to sit out the season due to Covid and it just hasn't been announced yet?
At the Zoom call last week, Collins said NU had 10 scholarship players plus 4 walk-ons. Probably just an oversight.

NU could very well be greatly improved, yet start the season 0-8 in the B1G. Brutal stretch. IU looks like the most winnable game. Iowa twice......ugh.

Interesting that we don’t play Nebraska. I thought we always play every conference team at least once.

I wonder what happened since last week's Zoom call.

HoF Classic ... poof!

It can't be they didn't like what they saw in practice, right?

Perhaps they are assuming that UNL will be kicked out of the Big Ten by the time the basketball season starts... :D

Is here:

Dec. 2 is the first game of the season, against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Dec. 20 is the first Big Ten game of the season, against Michigan State.

Also... Ryan Greer was not mentioned in the press release, but Dom Martinelli was. Awkward.

Just a brutal schedule. It seems every year the Cats start with four road games against the top 4 teams in the Big 10.

Imagine if NU started with Penn State, Nebraska, Rutgers. They'd at least have a chance to post a win.

Rutgers is damn good. I'd rather play IU than RU......

Do any others think it's odd that Illinois and some others are playing two or three games this week and NU none. Why is that?

Assuming we get to play all 24 games, I am guessing 15-9. 11 conference wins and 4 nonconference wins.
