I believe the current line is 9.5. Rutgers should win the first three games at home, but I have been saying all summer I believe this one will be the toughest. I think their QB throws for over 300 yards and a few TDs, but we gut it out and win a close one in the 4th quarter.

Well, Temple edged Akron in their opener 24-21, and I don't know what I should take from that. Is Akron any good? Was it a pillow fight? I didn't watch the game and have no idea how good or awful they looked. I can only go by what I saw from our team. Our offense will do better against an over-matched Temple D. But Temple will score a little too. Oh, and their 25 fans will show up in force.

Defense wants the shutout and gives us field position all night long.
Our kicking game is good at all 3 positions.
Patel missed 2nd one by inches and some jumped on him. The first FG was dead center and extra points were perfect.
There were no returns on kickoffs. Solid.
Our kick return needs emergency surgery.

While optimistic for a big win, I dont think so. While it was only Akron, I watched the game and EJ Warner looks like he has improvee since last year. They also have a WR and a TE that are better than Northwestern's receivers. If RU keeps Warner under pressure, maybe.

I seriously think RU will run up the score on Temple . The question is will Temple put up 2 or more TDs with EJ Warner. I think this game will have more scoring than the RU NW game, but just not sure if it will be all RU or both teams.

Your post made me reconsider my prediction. I agree with you that we will run it up. 9-3 Rutgers as GS kicks a late fg to run it up.
