The absolute right call. Pretty good setup for us if we win. You get Ginn in the

game that sends you to the championship. Can't ask for a better scenario if he pitches as he's capable. And honestly even if he struggles a bit, the bullpen will be rested with all hands on deck. Tomorrow's importance can't be overstated.

In the last 20 years only one team has lost their 2nd round game and gone on to win the trophy. (Coastal Carolina).

I wonder if it's easier to make it out after losing game 1 since your whole path to winning a championship is known at that point in terms of when you'll be playing. Lose your second game and you get two days rest instead of 3, followed by two consecutive days. If you lose at first you can plan game 2 knowing how hard your road ahead is.

Every game from here on out is a must win. It is how you take control of your own destiny. Nobody is going to help you now. When Louisville failed to upset Vandy, the die was cast. Either State is Better than Vandy or they aren’t. Prove it in the field or step aside.

Arkansas was a pretender. Tomorrow by 5 we find another pretender heading home.

Tonight’s winner is a contender. Tomorrow night’s winner is a contender. Last year State was a contender who got beat twice. That is supposed to be hard to do. Get in that position again, then finish it!

Hail State! Go Dawgs!

The extra day’s rest is likely the biggest benefit to going 2-0.

Look at Michigan, other than the guy who threw the complete game tonight they’ll have every single arm available on Friday. Huge advantage.
