Baylor has a ton of talent and experience. Mississippi State's Hubbard is a problem. That kid is fearless.
1st half analysis Baylor vs Mississippi State
Baylor - Scrappy, they get back on transition defense well. They are moving the ball quickly on offense and getting very good looks not allowing Mississippi State’s defense time to react. Baylor is having no issues attacking the paint. They crash the offensive glass hard and have scored at least 12 second chance points.
Mississippi State - They go as Hubbard goes. He is not afraid to let his shot fly. Scrappy team that plays fast. Hubbard’s teammates need to help him on the offensive end. They are doing a good job at face guarding Edgecomb.
Proctor will get the assignment on either Edgecomb or Hubbard. Duke will have to come out and punch either opponent in the mouth from the opening tip. Both Baylor and Mississippi State are playing confidently.

With Baylor, I feel about them how I felt about South Carolina in '17. I think they're a bad match-up. Underseeded and top ten talented.
Once any team gets to the round of 32, anything can happen. Are we a better team? No doubt. But this isn't best of 5 or 7. If that was the case we'd win the series 3-1 or 4-1 or 4-2. Again, anything can happen in a 1 game series even though we're the better team. All it takes is an off night and we're done. Good thing about us is I believe our defense is good enough if we have an off night.
Well, I hope we come out and destroy the competition today and bring that same energy we saw in the 2nd half of the Louisville game on Saturday. We play like that and we will be tough to beat.
I think both present problems. Baylor definitely has the talent to match us. Mississippi State has some dogs and they play tough physical D.
Bama's defense has been horrific all year...giving up 100 multiple times...if they arent making 3's they are just an average team
He came in the game about half way through the second half.
Hopefully Duke uses their size advantage against Baylor. The Bears shot terrible from 3 today hopefully that is the case on Sunday for them as well.

As most have said, have to win today but boy oh boy we have a massive height advantage at the 4 and 5 over Baylor.

Doesn’t matter. This Baylor team was a national title favorite to start the year. Plus, we have to beat Mount St. Mary's first.
True. That was before 14 L’s. Kansas, UConn, UNC were all favorites as well.
They could absolutely beat us no doubt but we’ve played and beat teams of their caliber and if we aren’t capable of doing in on Sunday then we don’t deserve a natty
