I'll join this thread. We're hanging in there, but just not playing well. I'm old enough to remember how much I hated playing @ ISU when we were in the Valley.

Pretty clear...
Scott cannot play.
Henderson is bad.
Wheeler is bad.

Joiner is great!

Haith can't coach. He has NO CLUE who to play and who to guard Evans.

Nevada mentioned Stead in the other thread. The ISU announcers on ESPN3 said these are MVC refs. I didn't realize Stead is a MVC ref.

As ugly as that half was, Henderson's 3 makes it 36-32. We need to cut out the turnovers & we still have a chance.

Just not very good right now. I just wished the players would understand their roles.

Really lucky to only be down 4. Their starters are better than our backups, so hopefully we play our best players in the second half

I believe the first 3 minutes of the second half will set the tone for the rest of the game. If we come out flat they could explode on us.

Rebounding has really improved the last two games. Defense the 1st half was fine too. Very sloppy against the aggressive zone.

Wish I knew why we are trying to pound inside agaist the zone when we have the 3 ballers

ISU, oddly enough, seems to have quicker and more aggressive players. They don’t play tentative.

Just isn’t a good matchup for TU from a personnel or coaching standpoint.

Hopefully, we’ll find a spark within the final 15 min.

Henderson needs to be off the court nd not come back on today. He can’t hit the water from the boat and his defense is not good enough to where he can even contribute on the end of the floor.

Tulsa has no identity. None.
That does not help matters.

ISU is a bottom 3 team in the AAC.

Where does that place Tulsa?
