I’m more saying Arizona and Michigan have set the bar high. Duke isn’t there. We managed to grind through the non-con schedule pretty well. But now we are getting to the meat of our ACC schedule starting with last night. And we also have the Michigan game in 2 weeks. It’s prove it time now.

Yup. This teams resume is top 3 in the country and #4 is fairly far behind. I actually think we will lose a few more times and very well might end up a 2 seed but that’s okay. They will be battle tested that’s for sure.

imo, it wasn't beating VaTech, it was Dockery hitting a half court shot at the buzzer, those are rare....but the court did get stormed
1. Carolina earned that win. As a Duke fan, rarely, if at all, will I raise the issue of officiating. Thats a UK thing. I just can’t do it. Thats just me.
2. I have very little confidence in Jon during late game situations. Right or wrong, the perception is there for me. Far too often he fails to get it done and the team always looks tight. Even in some of the close wins, things generally appear iffy.
3. No problem with UNC storming the court there. But UNC administration HAS TO do a better job of ensuring the safety of the players if or when it happens. Especially since you got two opportunities to get it right lol
Classic game, disappointing loss. Carolina made some great plays, Duke choked a little bit, Cam has to make that lay in after making the great move. Its a play he makes 9 times out of 10 early in the game.

Well we’re still ranked 4 in the AP. They know how this game was lol
100% on #2....too many to be a coincidence and we repeat the same mistakes at the end of close games. Our strategy is poor...too predictable and seems sloppy...thats coaching. Its undone us in March.
I think the team has overachieved so far. That may explain why a lot of folk have doubts about this team despite the record, which is great. Do we have anyone besides Boozer who we can count on to deliver every game? This team could go very far, but also feels very vulnerable.
I get what you're saying. The X factor might just be Boozer. He's so smart, and such a team player. I can't remember a time where we had someone as good as him down low, who can step out and hit a three, rebounds like he does, and also be more than willing to pass the ball. He makes life easier on everyone else. This kid has a great feel for the game.
I felt he would be good, but he's a freaking stud. Is he good enough to offset a few of our shortcomings? Time will tell.

Scheyer is doing excellent job but he can be too nice sometimes. I would have started the press conference different. I would have said if we win in the rematch you better believe we storming the court. We get trampled at Wake forest get hit with water bottle here. We going to give every ticket holder a orange when they come in the door. I would bet the weak *** commissioner would come up with rule to stop it then. Lol

Onto Pittsburgh who has 9 wins and their best player is out. Just take care of business and get back on track. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough for this team.

Watch the video. No students came onto the floor while the VT players casually walked off the floor.
Back in the day they would let all fans come on the floor postgame. I know I did back in like 2006 when Duke played Valparaiso.
So while Duke fans didn’t storm the court after Dockery’s shot, that image this Tar Heel fan keeps showing us, is probably simply the postgame of that game when everybody would be allowed on the floor. Duke doesn’t allow the casual gathering on the floor postgame anymore.
This is EXACTLY right. As someone who had season tix for multiple years. I saw this many of times.
However the point of contention is that the fans did NOT rush the court right after the shot. You can see on the TV coverage the VT players casually walking off the floor unimpeded and unbothered. They were in shock but they weren't being harassed.
