GT is not very good.. which isn’t a surprise, however they played Carolina very tough(if that matters) and beat us last year (also if it matters) I expect a hard fought game and have no indication our first half struggles will resolve. we are favored by 14.5 and it would be nice to get a quick 2-0 in the ACC before Christmas

I know everyone is upset with the low offensive numbers, but I think our offense will improve as the season progresses. I would rather have scoring concerns than worried that we can’t keep teams from blowing by us off the dribble. I remember Miami just embarrassing us because we couldn’t keep any one in front of us.

Duke 29-GT 15. Nice. I forgot the game was this early. It's 9:30 here.
Sion with 7 points. Kon with 6. Proctor 5. Evans is now ahead of Foster in the rotation. We still need Foster for another ball handler. 9 guys have played already.

Damn what happened. I stepped away we had a decent lead and Kon was knocking down shots i come back and its a 5 point game

Got a little too comfortable when we got the big lead. Then Coop getting his second foul and taken out the game. Also didn't help was Proctor missing both his free throws. Defense needs to tighten up. Giving up 36 is alot for our defense

Lazy end to the 1st half on Duke’s part. As Mac and Chris noted have to punch G Tech in the mouth to set the tone for the remainder of the game early in the 2nd half and put them away.

Flagg needs to stay composed against Powell (who is running his mouth)

For those who have asked if Coach Scheyer ever makes in game adjustments. Yes, he does. Today’s example:

To start the 2nd half, he’s countering G Tech’s zone defense by having Maluach set picks for the guards and G Tech is having trouble deciding on who to defend in the pick and roll.

This is why Maluach had two easy lobs in the first 4 minutes of the 2nd half and Duke is up 11 points again.

Duke’s depth is wearing down G Tech. Some Yellow Jackets had their hands on their knees going into the final media timeout.

Love Maluach’s activity in today’s game. Need this version of Maluach for the remainder of the season!
