You know a lot of people get mad when folks say Phog Allen is better then Cameron and I used to be one of them- but watching the Kansas Arizona game I can see how they get that

That’s because Gen Z is soft. Up until probably 10 years ago, CIS was without a doubt the toughest environment. Still top 3, but maybe not the toughest any longer.
Yesterday Pat was listed as probable so hopefully he plays. Would love to see Caleb continue to attack the basket like last game and for Evans to have back to back good games from 3.

Big Pat isn’t listed on the injury report this morning, so looks like he is a full go for the game today. That’s huge news. Let’s Go Duke, need this win.
Duke wins and I think by ten or more . Big Pat if he plays come off the bench and I’m thinking Khamenia and Harris 5+ points a piece . Evans hits 3 three pointers .
If Pat plays we should win. If not it could get dicey as Clemson has size. That transfer big is out for the year we probably could have used him for a few minutes. How limited will Pat be? Both his hands have been injured.
First it was Sarr that really held us back and now it’s Nik. Man he just doesn’t look ready for this level.
Sarr around the rim is nerve racking . Has any Duke player ever missed so many lay ups? Clemson is in this because they are gang covering Boozer and making everyone else score and luckily Duke is hitting 3’s. Second half will tell a lot .
Win and the cover. Surprised Harris didn't get any time in the last couple minutes when we were comfortably ahead.
I really hope we get a sophomore Cayden. He shows flashes of really solid guard play and can play off the ball if needed.

My assumption is we do get him back since we didn't get Jordan Smith. Cayden has a nice soft touch and floater when he's going to the basket.
Just saw where the 54 points by Clemson is their lowest in the last three seasons.
Long way to go in this Arizona game but Tech putting up a fight on the road. This is a team Duke absolutely blew the game with.
I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a 23-2 team as criticized as much as this team. They might not win the national championship but this is a really good team and the fact that some of the fan base (talking to some of the “visitors” this board had after the cheats game) is unreal.
I’ll be at the Michigan game and I think we are winning that game.

It’s not always pretty but it’s been a winning formula 92% of the time…
Fans gave complained that there’s no third scorer identified when it’s just not necessary.
Fans have complained about Pat when they should realize if not for Cam, Big Pat would average about 17 and 10…
About Michigan next week, I never cheer for a loss but I’m perfectly fine losing that one because if we go far in the NCAAT, we’ll meet them again. I’d like revenge to be on our side…

Before today I was starting to think this team peaked too early. But today was a step in the right direction.

I agree this team with 2 loses and could have easily won those is remarkable. They play defense most nights and that travels.
Agree. Would love a win over Michigan but as long as we play them tight I'll be good with a loss. They're deep and have some big bodies to throw at Cam. Pat needs to learn to stay out of foul trouble.

Michigan is beating ranked teams by 10-30 points . They are deep and have size . Now I’ll give the defensive edge to Duke but the offensive edge to Michigan .

Yes, this team is very good. The defense has been great. I’m not sure it’s merely criticism that gets addressed, I think there’s concern about the role players. We’ve only lost two games this season, but in both of those we folded the last few minutes. I know the officiating in the game with the holes was one sided, but we also didn’t hit some shots.
The concern comes from seeing this in years past. We had a championship caliber team last year, but our stud needed help, but no one stepped up. Do we have a team that can pick up some slack if Cam needs it?
Then again, Cam is unlike any other stud I’ve seen come through in a long time. The kid is so skilled, so unselfish, and can do what Flagg couldn’t do, which is bang down low. He keeps us from being one dimensional.

The game against Michigan is for the Overall #1 Seed in the NCAA Tournament imo. Michigan and Duke are the Top 2 teams according to the Pomeroy Rankings. Michigan has the Best Defense and Duke has the 2nd Best Defense currently. This game will be beneficial for both teams, because it will have an NCAA Final 4 Feel to it. The game is being played in the same arena the East Region will Host the Sweet 16 & Elite 8.
It would be awesome for Duke to Win this game and Position themselves as the Overall #1 Seed while Michigan & Arizona are placed on the opposite side of the bracket for the NCAA Tournament.

Duke is a 20 point favorite vs Syracuse. I cannot imagine Jimmy B was ever a 20 point underdog. It is hanging in the Syracuse locker room FWIW.
