Humphrey really gonna party over the next two weeks.......the St. Francis boys and girls and the Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family boys and girls teams all made the state tournament.

The quirkiness of Wauneta-Palisade’s postseason continues. Next week’s 1st round game against Paxton will be their 4th postseason game. Every one has been:

1) against a conference foe
2) against a team less than 80 miles from Wauneta
3) at a neutral site farther away than their opponent (Southwest and DCS in Cambridge, DCS in McCook, Paxton in Lincoln)

This will be their 10th game against their 3 postseason opponents (2 Southwest, 5 DCS, 3 Paxton)

Wauneta Palisade just keeps getting all the rematches. Crazy that all of these games have been further away than if they had just driven to their opponents home court.

It's a shame these 2 schools are right across the street from each other and don't even play each other.

they want to keep it friendly plus they all work together at one of the states best fish fries during the lenton season. you ought to see the desserts the people make. worth the drive.

We were disappointed when we lost our starting point guard 2 days before our matchup with Bluehill. However we would have had the same matchup they have against #1 Humphrey St Francis so that eased our losing woes.... Good luck Bluehill Mullen is rooting for you!
