Off to Iowa City Early

We were planning on going this Thursday like usual but my better half is on vacation… all this week so I decided to take off too.
So we are staying at the Alexis Park Inn (IOWA CITY) heard some good and bad news but mainly from the distant past… they look big as we got a condo for $175 a night that has 2 bedrooms and a washer and dryer etc so we I’ll be there tomorrow night all the way to next Tuesday night as we are meeting up with some old college buddies of ours… looking forward to this damn far and hopefully the same turnout score wise as the Badger game

I hope you have a great time in Iowa City. I can't remember if the place you're staying has always been called the Alexis Park Inn, but I see on the map where it is. Everyone has a story or two about that place. When I worked at Dominos on Riverside we wouldn't deliver there.
Drop a half eaten gyro on the Ped Mall for all of us who can't be there.

This is our annual college bros weekend. The crew of 6 from Quad comes in from around the country. We'll be in our air b&b down the street from Pagliai's, ready for a weekend of debauchery and football.

Leaving tomorrow also. We stay at the Merrill in Muscatine. Great hotel and awesome views of the mighty Mississippi. $222 a night but awesome place to stay. Great food at the hotel plus Boonies and Skinny's BBQ a block away. Very nice walking trail along the river.

Heading up to the Amana's for a day and visiting family. Love the fall in Iowa.
