The Old Dominion Monarchs made it to the NCAA field of 64 baseball teams this year and they defeated the University of Virginia during the regular season. The Chris Finwood Baseball Camps in beautiful Norfolk, Virginia are dedicated to providing a baseball camp that is both instructional and informational along with creating a great atmosphere to learn!
The coaching staff at Chris Finwood Baseball Camps at Old Dominion University prides itself on teaching the game of baseball to players of all ages and ability levels. All camps are taught by the ODU coaching staff and players. The mechanics and drills that are taught at the camps are used with the ODU college players.
"We are determined to provide the best possible learning experience for our campers," Finwood said via the camp website. "Our camps range in ages and we should have a program to fit your needs."
The dates for the camps are:
July Prospect Camp (8th-12th Graders) July 17th
The July Prospect Camp is set up for the serious high school player who wants to showcase their talents and get on the radar of the ODU Staff. This is also a great opportunity to learn skills and drills that are taught to the ODU baseball team. Players leave with a good idea of what it is like to be in a college program.
2-Day High School Exposure (Rising 8th-12th Grades) July 29 - July 30
