Our team should not take the Utes lightly. Living here in the Salt Lake area, I have watched this team closely this year... they have consistency issues with who they play. Struggled in PAC-12 play and even struggled with one of the worst BYU teams in recent history (19-13 in Provo) . Although scores are not always indicative of how a team does, but one thing is, they are very unpredictable. They played ranked ones close to lose and others like ASU and Oregon, I was puzzled by how they lost. 9/22 Utah 30 - Arizona 24 Arizona Stadium, Tucson, Arizona 10/7 #13 Stanford 23 - Utah 20 Rice-Eccles Stadium, Salt Lake City, Utah 10/14 Utah 27 - #8 USC 28 Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, California 10/21 Arizona State 30 - Utah 10 Rice-Eccles Stadium, Salt Lake City, Utah 10/28 Utah 20 - Oregon 41 Autzen Stadium, Eugene, Oregon 11/3 UCLA 17 - Utah 48 Rice-Eccles Stadium, Salt Lake City, Utah 11/11 #18 Washington State 33 - Utah 25 Rice-Eccles Stadium, Salt Lake City, Utah 11/18 Utah 30 - #11 Washington 33 Husky Stadium, Seattle, Washington One thing Gibby is going to have to work on with our D is containing Tyler Huntley. Contain him and that is about 60% of our battle won. With The other is their defense, which is good, but also has their moments. I would treat them in much the same way as TTU's or Iowa State's defense... maybe even K-State's. They are going to come after Chuggs or Grier and their LB's are good at coverage within the middle. They will try to intercept or knock down any intermediate passes. Their back With Spav's time at CAL, he should have an idea of what Kyle Whittingham may throw at him with defensive schemes. CAL ended up winning that game last season. If Chuggs starts, I am not sure we will win this and if we do, it's going to be hard on old-timers hearts. If Grier starts, we win this by 7-10 at the minimum.
