A lot of paycheck games in the B1G this week. Guessing the coaches prefer lighter opponents when coming off the holiday tournament travel.
Yeah I get it. For selfish purposes I’d like to watch a meaningful Husker game tonight. This opponent is just, meh.
True that. I’m heading to Boulder to watch Iowa State-Colorado. Clones likely to put a whipping on the Buffs, though CU is decent when playing at home.

CU’s best player (Jakimovski) out sick, but game is closer than I expected. Clones up by 6 at halftime.
Anyone else notice how Pizzo and Hummel just give Andy Katz a bunch of sh*t during pre-game and halftime breaks? Well deserved, I may add. But not even being subtle about it.

Been wondering about Griffiths. Haven’t seen him in forever and I was excited about him this year. He comes in with 3 minutes left, gets 2 3’s, a good drive to the hoop for 2, blocked a dunk and got a bunch of rebounds. Play the man! His size speed and abilities are a rare combo

There were multiple games earlier this year where he didn’t really look the part. Made mistakes, missed shots, etc. Would be great if that stretch helped his confidence and he can become an option. Decent athlete
It's other parts of his game he needs to work on. If you don't play defense and rebound for the current coaching staff you aren't on the court.
The schedule looks tough these next 8 games, factoring in the opponent and home/away. Every game winnable but wouldn’t be surprised to only win 2-3 games. Schedule gets easier in final 8 games. NU may need to get a lot of those games to get in the NCAA conversation.
I have to love Sherman. Maybe not a big difference maker but a really solid player and human being.
He couldn’t throw it in the ocean earlier this season. I’m kind of wondering if he’s a streakie shooter. I knew that feeling all too well
He wasn’t great last year at Rutgers, but he had few games where he got going offensively. Hope the light bulb comes back on at some point.
