Believe it or not, about thirty years ago, I was a member of the NRA. I still own plenty of guns.
I can say one thing, if I was a current NRA member, I would be mad as hell at the POS LaPierre. What a fraud.
Here is his $6 million mansion.

No doubt about it the NRA under LaPierre leadership is totally corrupted and morally bankrupt. It should be dissolved and reformed with all new leadership and bylaws.
As an aside, my wife's Mom worked at the NRA for a couple of decades in Chantilly, Va. She was in charge of managing all their subscriptions.
Fair enough.Just new leadership. The members can dictate the direction the NRA needs to go.
You're lying. You are not allowed to own a gun. If the members want to audit them they should. New leadership might be a good thing. I'm not going to complain if a stronger HAWK is appointed. Now be prepared to lose more votes because this has nothing to do with LaPierre and everything to do with Joe Biden's puppet master promise to come after American's guns. FFS Biden has already promised to come after everything except water pistols and 20 gauge shotguns. All this while you morons are rioting and calling for the defunding of police.
They're coming for your guns argument for the last 50 years gets old. Gun control advocates haven't put anything forward with any teeth in decades. A debate on high-velocity mags, assault rifles and closing waiting period loopholes isn't a massive overstep. All reasonable challenges and Obama barely even touched it. Biden sure as hell won't.
Clearly you haven't been paying attention. Happened here in Nevada two years ago and Virginia this year. I'm not going to be foolish enough to argue that there is no politics in this move. I would add that the NRA is a 501(c)(3) organization, so how the handle their spending is subject to some legal scrutiny. I think the members should have civil recourse, but the government can potentially have a criminal case as well. The NRA probably needs audited by it's members. However this is a civil case. So thanks for proving Democrat politicians are coming after American''s guns. All while trying to defund the police. Not a winning strategy.

Oh a campaign promise. Where have I seen one of those before? I know what I hear and then there is what I actually see. That horse is out of the barn. If March For Our Lives didnt compel any change than nothing will. Gun control advocates should be putting all their energy into things like smart gun technology.
What, no pics of his tax returns???Believe it or not, about thirty years ago, I was a member of the NRA. I still own plenty of guns.

There are charities that have those sorts of stats that are legitimate. Maybe both the Clinton Foundation and NRA fit into that box. I tend to look at the overhead costs for a charity before I'll agree to support it. If an organization pays their folks a ton of money, they have high overhead. Same if they feel the need to rent some extravagant office space. Those can be legitimate expenses for the charitable (non-profit might be a better term) organization. There are some things they can't spend money on legitimately. I'm no expert in the accounting rules for any of these sorts of things. I do know that I expect a majority of what I donate to go to the cause I'm trying to support, and I make my charitable donations with an eye on what percentage I give that makes it past the front office. So is the Clinton foundation, don't remember the exact number but something like less than 5% of their donations go to charity. Ask Hatis what they think of the Clintons.
Gun advocates lol Trying to take guns away from law abiding citizens for decades but do not have a answer for criminals. This guy was shot and killed in Chicago yesterday. They rap how they live. But the gun advocates want to harass Everyone else and don’t ever discuss the real violence. Just like the riotsOh a campaign promise. Where have I seen one of those before?
