In fairness to Japan they are good allies when it comes to Naval Support. They are restricted by laws that we insisted be put in place after WW2 on how they can get involved. They will probably figure it out as they understand they need us to deal with China in the future. Europe on the other hand keeps showing why our ancestors left there in the first place.
