The kid is hurt, has been dragging himself up and down the court. Still think they should have tried to add a football player to the team. Carlton Agudosi is 6'5", rather him guard some people. Someone said he has had his knee drained on several occasions.

Wow , that sucks. Can't blame him though, he's been battling injury all season and most likely would have already missed time during a "normal" season

At the court club meeting last week, EJ said Lewis can't practice for more than 15 minutes because of his knee and has a cyst the size of a golfball near his ankle.....give the kid a break....

Lewis may be a good kid but injured or not makes no difference...

hurt his feelings in the other thread. No seriously. Why even have him practice. Not going to make a damn bit of difference. Just have him soak, rest, etc.

Yeah tough guy, I'm sure you would handle any of the physical problems he's had this year better. Eat sh*t.

I didn't realize he is actually injured and can't walk and has cyst on his knees. That sounds more like an injury then "soreness."
Hope he gets better and team figures out a way to get 1 more win

I just hope we can have Greg, Diallo and Corey for the last regular season game on senior day vs. Minnesota. We just might be able to get a W with 9 scholarship players.

You really think Ash would allow a player to hang around this losing outfit? He doesn't even want them to know there's a basketball team.

Why not Zack Heeman (6-7/6-8, 295lb OL) NJ nominee for McDonald's All-America Game?

Kid is a warrior. Like to see you guys play with his injury.

I don't care how much or how little he contributes to the team. He has earned my complete respect.

He has been out there battling through the pain in a near hopeless situation. His reward is to go into the training room after each game and have his knee drained - and to be belittled by people who call themselves fans. He does it to support his teammates.

My guess is that he will be a huge success in life, with toughness like that.

The one game season is March 5 = we are all in - gotta break that streak

Ah, the irreplaceable 4 points of Greg Lewis. There's no end to the list of not-good players that get hurt and are replaced by not-good players often out of position.

I don't think Lewis would have been a "not good player" without the injury.

Last year he averaged 5.3 pts, 4.5 rbs and 0.9 blocks in 23.8 minutes. Even as the walking wounded, he still improved upon his "per 40 minute" numbers for rebounds and blocks, and his points only slipped a little. If you just took his numbers for this year, and allowed him to average 28 minutes per game, he'd be at 5.3 pts/6.7 rbs/1.3 blocks.... if you took away the knee injury and ankle cyst and allowed him to practice, those numbers definitely would have been better.

If he had been fully healthy all season, he may have been a 10 pts/9 rbs/2 blocks player as a senior.

Can't knock the kid - he's been dealt a **** hand, and he's playing it out. I'm sure this is not the scenario he envisioned for himself as a 5th year senior.

People can hate Jordan, I get that. But the kid has battled through some injuries. Give him some respect.
