The Cards go on the road this weekend to play what figures to be a very motivated Irish team playing 500 ball in the ACC. Looking forward to seeing our team respond to the fight they will assuredly get.

On a side note,did anybody see the play by Lavey at 2nd last night? Top10 for sure.

Was it the one he went way to his right on? I recall a fantastic defensive play he made but cannot recall the exact details. He may be the best defensive infielder we have. As far as UND. Sounded like they have played well of late. Couple that with playing at home, opportunity to knick off a highly ranked team, etc., and I think the Cards will have their hands full - at least tonight. As the Cards move deeper into their rotation I think their chances to win increase. I do hope Bennett pitches well this weekend. It seems like he hasn’t been quite as sharp lately.

I remember him moving to his left,into the hole between him and Wyatt. I was out on the berm when it happened and remember him twisting nearly 360 after he gloved it. Yes,he has really become quite the infielder...exceptional.

L yeah!! Cards get just enough hitting and ride some really good pitching 2-0.

Amazing follow up stats. U of L has won 19 consecutive games against the Irish. That means 6 straight sweeps!! The Cards have won 14 straight in South Bend...
