but the Ole Miss student section singing "The South Will Rise Again" is ridiculous. Seriously, it's 2008. I stayed and watched the postgame to take in the last few minutes of the Sly Croom era and I was shocked at how loud it was.

and I sat next to a guy who does something with the code for HD broadcasts from Memphis to San Antonio. Apparently he works for some company who ESPN contracts to do the HD work.
Most alumni hate it. I have no idea when this whole chant got started, but it was definitely after 2002 or 2003.
