Northwestern Game Tips

Six of us are staying in downtown Chicago like we normally do for the northwestern game. Normally would just take the train but were thinking of doing Uber that morning instead. Does anyone know if there would be any sort of surge pricing from downtown? I know the bar scene is terrible, any areas that people will be tailgating at and open to guests?

If one of your friends has never used uber, you get a discount the first few times. I had great luck with Uber last time I was there.

You can also try Lyft. It actually links to your Delta account (if you fly delta) for bonus points. They also have discounts periodically, and not only for new users. Look at both services.

I would be a little surprised if there was a surge price for the game but you never know. Evanston "bars" won't open until 11 (maybe noon, I can't remember for sure)...If Blur is hosting a tailgate there I would suggest buying the passes for that.
