Sounds like a group of whining entitled fans not getting the results they expected. The non-competive talk must be the new trendy label for losing. Saying that a position group, player, coach, etc on our team are not there to do there best IMO is a little over the top. Say that to the athletes in their face.. No doubt Carolina did not get the desired results against UVA, but this is college sports( well not so much $ anymore). As for the previous opponents talk, our schedule differs from very few teams thus far. The exception being cold weather teams being the sacrifice to some southern superior programs in the spring. Season is far from over. Let's play it out for this team and stop the glory day comparison of past teams or outfielders like the past 2 seasons.

Forbes teams always struggle on the first weekend of the ACC. We got swept by a bad Stanford team last year. But they always get better as the season goes along.

We did struggle in that Stanford series last year but we lost 2 of 3, not all 3.

Forbes said “non-competitive” so what are supposed to do?
Exactly. Forbes said it himself. The man is brutally honest and I love that about him. If he thinks something needs changing he will do it too. He won’t just stand pat.

We got to pitch better. I don't think it really matters who we play against just have to locate off speed pitches better. Watching from afar on TV it looks like Lynch is a lot bigger than last year weight wise or am I just seeing things.
