Is this roster comparable to the worst rosters of the Littlepage and Jordan years or whatever garbage the naysayers have been saying about this team.

Far from a top or middle tier BIG team with many flaws but these guys are playing hard with some young talent developing. Support this team to build for next season.

The people who compare this to Littlepage conveniently forget that his teams were regularly getting blown out by bad Atlantic 10 teams.

okay can we hold our horses a bit after two games at the rac.....the improvement obviously can be seen and we are seeing Mark emerge and Francis become team leader but lets let things play out....even Jordans team beat top 5 Wisconsin. The team we saw prior to the past 2 games was really really bad akin to Jordan years. How quickly we forget CCSt, Penn, SHU and even Delaware St. They are still a very limited team trying to thread a win with hustle, hot streaky shooting and getting the foul line. Oregon was without their pg and RU took advantage of that Need more data going forward but signs are encouraging.

The team needs a big in the worst way. Even a marginal D1 big would make a huge difference. Ogbole isn’t close to marginal. Without one, wins will be mighty scarce.

But,Shelby did enjoy this thriller.

Yes - we’d be way better with a competent BIG. I’ll say one thing though to anyone blaming last year’s disaster on lack of NIL resources… That team would’ve been a heck of a lot better with Tariq Francis on it - issue at center notwithstanding… Marginally better on D because Jordan / Acuff / PJ were worse at perimeter D in Pike’s schemes. But imagine Tariq playing alongside a tall PG like Dylan Harper with a talent like Ace to provide an inside / outside game? I truly believe the offense could’ve been special…. And he wouldn’t have cost a penny more than the guys we brought in so arguably we were a year too late IMO.

Im looking to Keli to solve that one - but she clearly gets it and seems to be doing a great job of getting football what they need to retain and attract.

Conveniently forgetting Kaminsky was injured?
