Probably a good hire for them. He needs to bring in an offensive innovator to use all the tools they have properly.

He does know how to recruit Ohio. He's been pulling in great players (some under the radar) since he was on Tressels staff.

Granted, it's easier pull in players at Ohio State than Cincy

Fickell played DE under John Cooper in the 1990s. Their other DE was Vrabel, later a star with the Pats.

Fickell didn't have much success as the transition coach between Tressel and Urban
