Just for kicks - this is based on records against other NJ teams

1. Rutgers 3-0
2t. Fairleigh Dickinson 2-1 (with one to play, against St. Peter's)
3t. Seton Hall 2-2
3t. St. Peter's 1-1 (with five to play, against Fairleigh Dickinson, twice against Monmouth and against Rider)
3t. Princeton 1-1
6t. Monmouth 0-1 (with three to play, against Rider and twice against St. Peter's)
6t. Rider 0-1 (with four to play, against NJIT and Monmouth and twice against St. Peter's)
6t. NJIT 0-2 (with one to play, against Rider)

So RU has clinched the championship based on W/L percentage, but St. Peter's and Rider could get more wins.

If RU beat both SHU and Princeton and those teams played each other, how can both SHU and PU have only one loss?

Rutgers = Division I, 60,000 students, 12 scholarships, The State University
So, please stop. It's embarrassing

60,000 is alsomisleading. That would include Newark and Camden, part time evening students, grad students, medical school students. Back in the day undergrad day Students in NB was maybe 18,000. (Going back to the early 2000’s when I was doing enrollment reporting). I sure it’s more now, but still not 60,000.
That being said it was disappointing to see under 10 people in the student section last night

You're taking this much more seriously than I am. (I mean, really, the teams don't all play each other, and some of them have many more games against NJ teams than the others.)

But in fact, they all are D-I teams, all eligible for the NCAA D-I tournament, and all of them can have the same 15 (not 12) scholarships if they want. School size doesn't mean that much in basketball, which is why on the men's side Duke and Villanova can compete with the big state schools.

Standings based on D-1 WBB Schools in Jersey.
Why make more out of it then it is ?

Of course you can say I'm wrong and be right.[winking]
Jersey is an Island between England and France , so none of the D-1 schools mentioned are located there.:p
