2 teams, Indiana and Ole Miss, that likely will be invited, have already declined saying they are going to focus on recruiting and the portal. This will be a new trend as these power teams want the head start on the portal additions, and the players likewise would rather enter the portal and look to their future than plan nit games.

Is that so? Wow!

Fwiw Indiana has no recruits for next year so I can understand why the coaching staff needs to focus in on the portal.

Their 5* recruit - McNeely - decommited 1-2 weeks ago.

More importantly the portal should be deferred until the ncaa tourney ends.

this is how they will justify expanding the ncaa tourney...these medicore 12-16 expanding to make the field of 80 or 84
