NIT in Danger???

[Indndawg]

I've tried to hold fire on Stans, but this last few games have been ridiculous

This team has no desire and is on the outside looking in for the NIT, after that pathetic performance. What's the name of that other tourney? cbi? Maybe we can get a 2 or 3 seed in that one.

just wait until the CBI invitation comes in.

because the way we are playing we will be quickly shown the door in what ever second rate tournament we make, if we even make one. The first 10 minutes of today's game is some of the worst basketball I've seen an MSU team play in a long, long time. Auburn had a double digit lead on us midway through the first half while playing crappy themselves. We were just playing that much worse. We are rounding back into pre-conference form again now and maybe its just time we make as early a season exit as possible without worrying about playing in a tournament nobody cares about anyway. A couple of years ago playing in the NIT was exciting because we were actually playing our best ball toward the end of the year and had a legitimate chance to win it, not so with this team though.</p>

Is it bad that some part of me hopes that we don't get a NIT bid so that this trainwreck of a season can end?

[Indndawg]

the real teams has shown up

Thanks STANS

I can see playing the NIT even if it is for the 66th place in the nation, but CBI is just pushing it. That tournament is not even worth having. Hell I would be embarrassed to even win the CBI tournament (which we probably couldn't do).
