Nissan plant shutting down for 2 weeks.

We’re going to get paid 32 hrs. a week as long as it last, for now. Fortunately I have some vacation to use up so I’ll get a full 40 hr. paycheck.

The Toyota engine plant in Huntsville is shutting down for a couple of days, the Honda plant in east Alabama is shutting down for 6 days, and the Hyundai plant in Montgomery is closing for an unstated time because an employee tested positive.

Passenger traffic at the Huntsville airport is down dramatically after the DOD eliminated travel, and that will likely last a while.
