I think he get hammered at Maryland because we are due for one where the other team just plays well and we cannot mount a comeback, it happens
after that though we get 3 of 4 at home and really need to get all of them I believe because have an absolutely brutal last 4.

Agreed. Tough to see this team getting to 20 regular season wins. All five road games are losses and beating Illinois, Maryland and Michigan, all three of which are more talented, at home is borderline impossible.

We don’t play Ohio State home. We have winnable road games at Ohio state and Wisconsin and who knows Purdue as well if they continue to flounder. Pen State possibly as well.
I wanted this game ; we needed this game and we should have had this game!

I said months ago that the two losses to St.Bonaventure and Pitt were going to come back to haunt Rutgers for post season aspirations because they could have provided a cushion against the difficult road games at the end of the season.
We have a tough tough schedule for sure. 3 of 4 home games are tough as hell as are all road games.
Team needs to man up and seal its destiny.
Don’t let ADs from other conferences dictate our fate in the days leading up to selection Sunday.
All five road games are losses? Did you watch or hear about our narrow losses at Iowa and Illinois in which we were a couple of plays away at the end from winning?
Either we step up or we don’t. I think we can but the team needs to understand it only gets harder from here on out. Michigan played better than us and we blew an opportunity for a neutral court victory. Need to learn and move on to Maryland. Won’t be easy but we can win there if we play our best.
Agree the rest of the way won't be easy. This is a young team. I was at the game, and it appeared the spotlight got a little bright for them today. They didn't quit, and this was winnable. Disappointing big time. But at the beginning of the year we would all have signed up for this.

After 3 close losses to good teams on the road, I wouldn’t count out road wins vs PSU, OSU, maybe even Wisconsin. Those 3 plus northwestern equals 20 wins. Trade Wisconsin or OSU for a home game vs MD or Illinois and there’s still your 20. Have to absolutely hammer down and prove we deserve to be in. There’s no backing into the NCAA tournament
Rutgers was hot offensively against Iowa scoring 80 points and still loss the game because at crunch time failed to score.
We won’t have to worry about the crowd at Ohio State being a factor. Doesn’t seem to matter if they are winning or losing, the place sounds like somewhere between a cemetery and a library on TV.
Wouldn't it be amazing if that hot shooting night is against Maryland
all winnable games but now 4 games where RU played close and couldn't win, we will throw a couple of clunkers on the road count on it
I think this team has been somewhat dependant on the RAC crowd putting them over the top...its somewhat like the Waters teams that way although those teams were not competitive on the road. Still they need to win of these games. This was probably their easiest opportunities
