Greg Mcilroy and other sources say Saban wants back in to coaching. Any chance he replaces Rhule after this year since MR doesn’t stay places long?

I would say that Saban Is only going to go somewhere where he has an easier chance to win. Nick's cousin Lou Saban took a job at Peru State when he was about Nick's age so I wouldn't rule anything out!

Hard to believe he returns to coaching when he turns 74 years old this year. Could understand if he were 10 years younger but seems like a big risk at 74-75 years old.

I would say there is a zero chance he returns to college coaching not would I want him at Nebraska.

Saban would need unlimited funds for himself, his staff and players. There are only a couple teams that could offer that and it's not Nebraska.

I highly doubt that Rhule will leave NU voluntarily, his contract is heavily back-end loaded and no one is going to match what we will be paying him for the remaining five years on the contract after this season.

Maybe he just wants to do "one last great adventure". It's corchanese for "money grab"

There's probably some desperate program out there that would fund that. If Florida State or Florida shite the bed this year, who knows.

Maybe LSU if Brian Kelly $hits his pants again this year. This whole Hugh Freeze thing isn't working so well either at Auburn. Also saw some writer suggesting Texas Tech.

It's more likely that Bo Pelini will return as the head coach of Nebraska than Saban coming here.

Who are those teams? You have to remember Saban would only go where he had a chance to win right away. That’s a successful program. So they would have to buy out their current coach.

I am pretty sure the comment was Saban would like to get back into coaching again. He already quit because he didn't want to deal with NIL and transfer portal and all the BS. People are assuming he wants to return as a head coach. Maybe he does, but what if he just wants to do what a dude like Snow is doing so he doesn't have to deal with the crap.

Yep when Dana Holgerson took up Rhules offer it was because he missed the interaction with the kids and just missed coaching in general. Doesn’t mean he wants to be a HC again.
