Our S&C sucked his last couple of years. Like Frost or not, his staff has helped our S&C greatly.Didn’t he only do like 10 reps with 225lb on the bench? Seriously how does this happen?
Eh, I'm not in this camp. Our S&C is way behind the times. Yes, they are strong and are definitely bigger, but we aren't fast and athletic. It's a dead giveaway when our lineman from last year in the NFL have basically had to reshape their body for the NFL. The 80's are over and Duvall needs to adjust. There is a reason Bama went and got Indianas strength coach,Our S&C sucked his last couple of years. Like Frost or not, his staff has helped our S&C greatly.
There's a huge difference between weight training strength and athletic strength.Didn’t he only do like 10 reps with 225lb on the bench? Seriously how does this happen?
Yeah, but Scott said Verduzco and Duvall are "the best in the business."Eh, I'm not in this camp. Our S&C is way behind the times. Duvall is not anywhere near the best in the business. Outside go look at his track record. Lot's of losing teams and like I said, he is way behind the times as far as speed, flexibility and overall athleticism. Yes, Duvall can build some really big dudes, but S&C is more than just size.Yeah, but Scott said Verduzco and Duvall are "the best in the business."
I remember the very first hire that Urban Meyer made when he was the new head man at OSU was bring in his own S & C coach.
Now we have both examples of Meyer and Nick updating that part of their program. I wonder if there's anything to it.....
