Their AD, Michael Alford, played baseball here, but transferred to and finished at UAB

"Alford played baseball at Mississippi State University and at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, from which he earned a bachelor's degree in communications arts in 1993. He completed his master's degree in athletics administration at the University of Arkansas in 1995."

I suppose that with the class they've shown that CMU can be my adopted MAC team.

No matter how hard I try, I just can’t seem to find a MAC team that I care about. Maybe I’ll root for CMU, they sound like a great bunch of guys. With that said, I’m all about some MACtion on Tuesdays/Wednesdays in the fall.

So whats the deal on the Ethan small outburst? were they talking smack? Or were their dugout shenanigans getting on his nerves, or was he just fired up?

I assumed they disrespected him somehow to piss him off.

[Hump4Hoops]

He said on Twitter he does it when

there's been a lot of chirping from the opposing dugout. Makes sense.

wow small world. Mike was a Sig Ep with me at MSU before he left. What is even more interesting is that my nephew was the starting QB last yr for CMU and in a battle for it this year. Crazy. I just reached out to Mike. Been a long time.

I think their goofy routine when Ethan hit a batter was the last straw.

I think most of their antics were good-natured, but Ethan was saying "not in my house".
