I will point out you can’t go 0-16 if you tie your first game! ;) I’ll point out that Bell was probally sitting back laughing the Steelers tied the Brownies too Lmao . Congratulations! You can’t do worse than last year.”Cleveland this is for you!!” (King James)... You don’t pay me you pay! Lmao. Conner did great though so he likely wouldn’t have influenced the outcome any, but he’s still laughing. I’ll also point out how Mack is feeling (great!) and how he just spit in Gruden and the Raiders face for not paying him and trading him! 1 Sac FF 1 INT for a TD in the first half! Man that’s gotta be like a kick in the nads this morning to Raider nation. :) Losing tonight from defense would be icing on the cake! Now it’s “he didn’t want to play here” Ohhhh lmao Gruden...good safety blanket right there in case Mack is one of the best ever and worst trade in NFL history.”oh he didn’t want to be here” Shut up! Lmao you didn’t want to pay the man! You thought money would be best spent elsewhere! ....We'll see..makes no sense to me as close as that team is at being one of the best in the game....

Stupid rules and flags made for watching the game and holding your breath after every play looking for a flag . Ridiculous . A lot of roughing the passer penalties where I guess you’re suppose to shake their hand, wipe their asz, and ask politely if I may tackle you....Gently lay down when I grab you! I’ll fall this way , you fall that way. I don’t want to land on you. **%%*Y crap ruining football. Footballs got so many problems I don’t know where to begin.

It’s hard for me to watch nfl anymore. All you have to do is breathe on the qbs and you get a flag. They need to put their big boy panties on and suck it up buttercup.

1. The Bengals are going 16-0.
2. My Bengals are always known as a dirty team, I don't mind, however a few of those roughing the passer penalties were BS.

The NFL is obviously trying to protect QB's. They are by far the most valuable asset in the league. My question to all those "suck it up and play" people in regards to the QB's....would you rather watch a bunch of football games played by back-up QB's???? Did you enjoy watching the Packers last night when Rodgers was out of the game??? That is what will happen if you allow these defenders to tee off on QB's.
This ain't the 1970's. D-Ends are lightning quick, and can get to the QB faster than ever before.
I understand complaining about the game changing....but it's for the best. The NFL needs the top tier QB's on the field, not in the concussion protocal tent.

It's alot like when college basketball stopped allowing hand-checking, very annoying to watch at first....but eventuallyyyyy it made the game a better product.

To each his own. Sure the DE’s are stronger and faster. Did the O linemen not get stronger and faster as well? Or can only defensive players do that.

With all the rule changes, catch or no catch, every kick off is a touchback.....etc. Its just not something I want to watch anymore. The game used to be much more enjoyable to watch.....jmo

On a recent football podcast a great point was discussed. No young offensive lineman knows how to block correctly once he gets into the league, it takes 3-4 years to groom a good blocker (outside of the once in a generation talent like Tyronn Smith.) This is due to college offenses running the spread. Since college offense has become basically a gimmick, these poor O-Lineman don't know how to block correctly. D-Ends are coming into the league better than ever, the exact opposite of the O-lineman.

That would be my opinion, since the D-Ends are destroying the offensive tackles, the QB's are gonna get murdered without some protection. I'm all for big-hits by the way, but I ain't watching a football game played by 2 back-up quarterbacks.

I understand the head to head stuf. But the Qb gets a concussion during the game you’re already watching and next game he’ll be back anyway. So ratings remain the same lol...Not like I’m going to quit watching after that. That rule is fine though. But falling on a QB? No. It’s one thing if you’re picking them up and slamming them with all your weight, but these were just simply tackling the Qb. And in a lot of them I watched the defender was actually opening his hands off the QB bracing his fall when landing on top of the QB...imo all this is about is money...well duh..The NFL doesn’t have a clue about that..They want it!! But ratings continue to fall. This isn’t even close to a way to fix that! They can preach safety all they want....consistently is a problem too. I saw the exact same crap that could have been call 20 more times based off what was called.. It’s a judgement call. And there’s to many of them as is... It cost us 7 points! And could have changed the entire outcome of the game. Fans don’t want that crap or the players. Let them decide, not your pockets...I’d rather watch 32 backup QBs and games not getting influenced by zebras. The players would rather play football! So what’s the problem? Everybody wants it! The problem is their pockets and trying everything they can to fill them...And this is a fail. This rule will likely not save 1 Qb from injury in 20 years, yet influence I don’t know how many games. I mean you tackle a guy you fall on them. You get injured you don’t you get a flag you don’t. Nothing with change but the outcome of games from it. And ratings lol. Not in their favor either. .Cant fall on the QB sheesh...yea like players can actually not do that....This rule is a result of the Aaron Rodgers hit last year. ironic... lol

You want to protect the Qb put a flag on them. 2 hands they’re down or something. Backyard crap. This is a fail. Just like everything else they fail at...Like the national anthem suspension if you kneel crap that they put on hold. NFL is failing at everything.

The Cowboys will be revelant when Jerry the emperor Jones goes bye bye, and they fire their coach. I mean you built OL through the draft for years, got Elliot, Cut Dez, and throw to guys you pull off the street and try to win? I’m confused... They’re all out of wack. I actually feel bad for their fans, especially as much as people like to give them crap for losing.

As a Washington fan, I'm not sure if they were that good or if Arizona was just that bad. Either way, it is a win. Adrian Peterson went back in time for a little while. I don't expect him to play that way each week.

I’ll always root for Washington given I’m from Va, y’all got AP, We got Cousins, and last and certainty most I hate the Cowboys! :)

I’m happy after week 1 with both the Panthers and Redskins winning. With the Saints and the Falcons losing this week, if the Panthers win next week and the Buccaneers lose next week then that’ll move the Panthers into first place in the NFC South after week 2.

That isn't the only reason. Look at the top of the projections for the 2019 draft. It is loaded with D-linemen. Not Dends, down linemen. Who are in the 6-4+, 300+ range. And are stud athletes with long arms. 10 years ago, they'd have been bulked up to 315+, and installed as dominant blindside tackles. But they aren't there anymore. Dline is more fun than Oline, and DCs are learning the value of chocking off running lanes between the guards, if not between the tackles. Top tier big athletes have all moved to the DL, instead of the OL.

I don't think many people actually like FB. What they seem to enjoy is a gladiatorial style even wherein young men, mostly from lower social economic levels, essentially sacrifice their health for our jeering amusement.
.
Back in the "good old days" when FB was played by "REAL MEN" the game was REAL BORING. There were a lot of games wherein less than 25-30 points were scored, combined, per game. For season averages. Lot of 14-10 affairs or thereabouts. I played for a HS team that ran the wishbone, which is what teams would fall back on if you were allowed to target QBs. It was boring to play and more boring to watch.
.
3 yards and a cloud of dust is no way to live life. It would kill the game, which would kill salaries, which would drive skill position athletes to other sports.
.
Sure, allowing teams to attack QBs would be great, if you could force offenses to run modern offenses. But no team would do that. They'd revert to boring, safe, run heavy offenses.
.
And, hey, if the D's handcuffs come off, so do the O's. Let's bring back cut blocks and chop blocks. By the third series last night, Kalil Mack would have sustained a serious knee injury.
.
And, why not the flying wedge? I'd love to see 3+ guys carted off with life ruining lower extremity injuries.
.
Just nonsense from people that want to see poor young men brutally maimed, with no emphasis on skill or strategy.

I'll clarify. Bringing back "hard nosed" D would ruin the game because teams would start running safe running plays.
.
If the D gets to target QBs, WRs, and KRs, then the O should be able to target DLs and LBs when we bring back blocking styles that have been currently banned.
.
People who advocate for this seem to want to see poor young men get mangled, with no thought to skill or strategy.
