Official measurements per Josh Norris:

6'3", 220lbs. 34 1/2" arms, 9" hands.

Odd combination of really long arms and relatively tiny hands. Of all the WRs Norris listed, Key was the tallest WR and had the longest arms. He's going to make some NFL QB really happy next year.

That's a good electronic time for his length. I'd bet he will run in the 4.5s at his pro day with a handheld which would be very solid.

Saw that Derrick Henry was just a tick faster in the 40 than Key.

I don't think the Patriots would go that high for a WR when they need a DB, LB, and a lot of OL help. Depending on what they do in FA, I would guess they might try to get an outside WR. Key fits that mold of what Brady hasn't had since Moss left. I would love to see him in a NE uniform but I don't see the Pats going that high for him if he indeed raised his draft stock that high.

I have the same issue with Charles Clay having played with the Dolphins and now currently with the Bills. UGH
It didnt make me sick to my stomach to root for the Bills or Dolphins when the Jets were already out of the playoff hunt, so i still very much enjoyed him having success there. NE will be a different story.

I get it...I always want TU players to do well, just not when they're playing the Pats. I had that issue when Gus was playing for the 'Skins (and 7 other teams) and the Pats were bad.

Good to see the football team is getting some coaching help from the track team. Great track form. Obviously essentially for sub 4.6 40s, no matter how talented.

I am trying to get a grasp on "measurables"...
I look at Garrett at 6'3" 34 1/2" arm length & 9" hands...

Then Ol' Sepp...
Just under 5'7 3/4" 32 7/8" arm length & 10 1/4" hands...
For an old short guy I got pretty good "measurable"...

Do they have a social security team I could try out for...???

Absolutely. Grab a beer, plug it in, and lets do this!

I think he'd be a great pick up for the Packers as long as he can stand the cold. They desperately need receivers who can make plays. Imagine seeing Rodgers scramble around and throwing to Garrett who goes and grabs it over a shorter CB.

Im going to guess Lion's, Bills or Rams. I think the Rams will give him the strongest look in the 4th. With the lion's or bills in the 5th.

But that's just a guess, no actual investigative work done for this prediction.

(P.s. I'm a cardinal fan so there's literally no scenario where he ends up in Arizona)

The Texans need a receiver since they cut all their good ones. Their coach and GM suck, however.

Their coach and GM are always talking about increasing their length and speed at every position. Hard to argue he isn't an improvement in those categories over Damaris and the other guys they had out there last year.

Garrett did himself a great great favor at the combine IMO. He is tall and fast, which are what every team needs. Some get one or the other, rarely both.

Update? Like what? He was signed as a free agent by the Panthers and now we just wait until camp starts and see if he can make the team.

There have been quite a few stories done about Key. The Panthers seemingly like him a lot including Rivera and the WR coach Ricky Proehl.
