Neyor strikes me as an Uncle Rico type guy who lives in the past glory of his high school years and thinks he is way better than he actually is. Thus, every time he transfers he dreams big things for himself but then gets disgruntled when he doesn’t get the touches he thinks he is due. So off to another school he goes where his true giftedness will be better appreciated.
Fact is, he stinks. He can’t catch. He can’t block. He can’t get separation from defenders. He doesn’t run crisp routes.

Neyor is exactly why the portal seems like such a crap shoot. For every Palmer or Toure, there are alot more Neyors out there. Yet Louisville is probably thinking they hit a home run - portal commitment from a starting receiver at a P4 conference school who was previously at blueblood schools like Texas and NU. He has to be good - right??

I was suspicious about him from the start. Productive against lesser competition at Wyoming. Caught some TDs, was wide open. Transfers to Texas. Gets hurt. Gets healthy and doesn't play a snap even in blowouts. Something just didn't add up.

Aaron Murray agrees. It was fun watching him critique our first few games and how upset he was with Neyor dogging it on his routes.
