@ORU
@ Wichita St.
OK State
Ore State
Missouri State
Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii (3 games, I believe)

That's the extent of what I have gathered so far. I would expect only those two road games and remaining home games to be of the easier OOC opponent variety. TU probably won't get lucky to get a surprise top 100 win, as with Iona this year.

I think we might take an away game somewhere just for experience and recruiting purposes. I actually wonder if we'll owe Iona a return game.

Are we continuing with UALR? They are a pain in the butt to beat, but all in all, it has
been a good series.....

I think we made a good decision to continue the rivalries with Wichita St and Missouri St yearly. It will pay off if we keep those series' going. Good long time rivalries close enough to drive to and from. A rivalry should strengthen both teams/programs and those do that. imo

Agreed. I enjoy the series. Fans from both teams are fun to talk to, especially the older ones who remember when Tulsa was in the MVC with them. A small handful of rude fans in both fan bases, but all teams have them. Overall it's been the most enjoyable road games I've been to in recent years.

Bring on the Salukis!
LEC, do you remember the Tubby years when SIU was really good. They had a player by the name of Ashraf Amaya who essentially was their version of Michael Ruffin. Guy was a rebounding monster inside. Those games were incredible. That was when Bradley was good too...Jim Molinari. Hated Bradley fans...they talked trash like no one else and didn't do much to back it up.

I just like saying Salukis. Ironically, they've sucked balls since they missed that half court shot that would've beat Coach Self in his third year at KU. * Phoggy bat signal *

In all seriousness, I liked that guy for Fresno, Larry something or other, who was a rebounding fool. He wasn't even 6-7 and he snagged 27 one night against SMU or some other ****** team/school.

I believe that's the one!
Was it him that got in trouble for brandishing a Ninja Sword at a party? I know that incident was mentioned on HBO's Real Sports on a story they ran about a female track athlete who was dismissed from the team and kicked out of school because she worked as a stripper to subsidize her partial scholarship while Abney's incident (if it was him) went largely unpunished.

I wonder how much that helped recruiting this year. "Oh by the way, we'll be spending Christmas in Hawaii. "

I think that was a guy named Pettus or Brunner. Brunner was a Georgetown transfer.

Even though we are in a good basketball league now, I liked the 16 WAC basketball league better. I would rather travel west versus east anytime.
