Next Face in Today's Game

Transfer DaChe Williams made her first appearance today entering the game in the waning minutes. Hope we get to see more of her in future games.

Not sure if she could have been redshirted this year but apparently she's available off the bench now.

Why burn her redshirt, which only gives her one full year of eligibility. (Unless CVS didn't want to give her that 3rd year of scholarship?)

She might not have an extra year. She played for Northeastern in 2013-14. If you have 5 years to play 4, she'd only have this year and next to complet 5. We had Alexis Burke in the same situation last year and although she sat out an entire season with an ACL, she wasn't granted the 6th year. This may be a similar situation.

Thanks, sounds like a good reason why DaChe is going to play this season instead of sitting it out.
Believe she played 1 year( 2013-14) at Northeastern and the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons at Winthrop. The 2014-15 season she probably sat because of transferring.
