Sounds to me like the first "he" and "his" is referring to coach, and the second "he" is referring to Carino. Poorly worded and no link, but point still made, so thanks MC. Although the truth is this is nothing new, this is kinda what we've all been hearing, no?

I expect one coach from Stony Brook to be Director of Basketball Operations Bryan Donagher,a Scotch Plains grad.
Why would he promote his former DOBO as opposed to one of his actual assistants? (Honest question, I'm not claiming any knowledge of the coaching search.)
Young, Marshall and Shoes seems like a good start if Young doesn't get the SB job.
This thread is very reminiscent of the threads that started concerning Ash's staff. All new head coaches bring their own people. He might keep some of jordan's staff but if coach P doesn't think he can work with them then they will not be retained. Ash

The son of one of my golf buddies started at guard with Bryan Dougher at Scotch Plains so I got to see him play back then. He was a shooter in HS but started every game for 4 years at Stony Brook and developed into a very good mid major player under Pikiel.
