True, but we can still smile when they want an automatic First Down for pass interference...
What really needs to change is offensive penalties behind the LOS enforced from the spot of foul. Calls like Off Holding should be enforced from the previous spot.

Anyone have the experience of explaining to the wife differences among the OT rules at the 3 levels, particularly pro and college? It was exhausting!

I don't believe there are any such specific prohibitions in the NFHS code beyond the kicking tee being no taller than 2 inches. Perhaps one of the other officials who post here can find a rule citation?
