I think we know enough to say that all are upgrades. Mickey has emerged as an important voice of the program rather quickly.

It would appear so. Granted, we’ll know more in the Fall. But I definitely like what I’m hearing!!

What about the HC?
It looks like Trev promoted him from HC/OC to HC. I don't know how he feels, but if I were him, I'd be relieved. Mickey was a great get in terms of injecting "Red" blood into the program. Dude was here when it was done the way it's supposed to be. But Whipple is a guy that makes Frost's job easier. There is just a ton of stuff to manage in that program. The meeting alone must take a bunch of time. The portal and NIL changes the landscape of college football and the programs that realize this now will have success. Frost bought the HC ticket and he needs to understand that he is now taking that ride. Let Whipple do the things he does and trust the team will be prepared to execute.

Any staff is only as good as its leader. Frost has not shown to be a good leader at this point. Remains to be seen if he can let someone else be in control.

I guess I will take a different approach to all of this. For me, it all reflects on poor decision making by Frost. First he brings everyone with him, then he changes OC coordinators, then complains because the OL is physical like he wants, then he firs nearly all of his O staff and now this. Something seems amiss.
