That’s going to be another problem with Natty Duals.

People love their rankings and you really need to be careful with these big drops. Troy was beat in a tight win against #1 and gave a win versus #10 away with 5 seconds left.

I also thought Konner should get more respect. He got beat by #1 by riding time.

You have to take the good with the bad. It’s 3rd party information for everyone to see and discuss.

You lose a couple of matches especially at a competitive weight class, you are going to drop.

Everyone knows the only ranking that matters is what happens at the end of March.

Losing a close match will never bump you up in the rankings. Winning matches will. The good thing is rankings don't mean anything in November. And they wont mean as much now that the coaches rankings have been restructered. It used to be 14 coaches ranking per weight and most would just follow the the ranking services. Now they made a committee with a handful of coaches ranking each weight.

Rankings penalize losses more than they reward wins, which is why guys (and teams) duck competition. They're just following incentives

Yes and body of work matters. Look at Flo 149 Valencia is still below Casey (1-4 record ) because of his loss to Evans. And Block is still below Casey because Block doesn't have matches at 149. Do you guys think Casey should still be 10th and ahead of Valencia and Block?

I haven't looked at Block's body of work, but I would have Valencia ahead of Casey

I think Casey is ultimately better than block but can’t beat Valencia in any scenario based on opening night.

Sergio Vega - 2
Casey Swiderski - 4
Landon Robideau - 2
Ladarion Lockett - 2
Alex Facundo - 8
Zack Ryder - 4
Cody Merrill - 9
Konner Doucet - 8

If @chasepollard will allow us to discuss... ;) :)

Very little in the way of changes this week.

Spratley No change this week, remains at #8. If you haven't heard, Luke Lilledahl was beat by a teammate this past week. Vince Robinson takes the #1 spot.
Figueroa drops from #17 to #21 at 1-3 on the season.
Vega holding strong at #2.
Swiderski no change at lucky #13, also 1-3 on the season.
Robideau another SuperFrosh holding at #2.
Lockett Freshman Posse at #2
Facundo improves the season record to the positive ledger at 4-3, remains at #16
Ryder no change either at #9.
Merrill 6-1, stays at #9 with the important number being 7 In and Out Burgers. With 3 Big 12 opponents ahead of him, will have his opportunities.
DOUCET holding steady at #8 looking more and more like an AA.
