There is no telling what is going through the mind of Shane Lyons and Gordon Gee but if they where to make a coaching change don't be surprised if Matt Campbell or Justin Fuente are near the top of the list. They both are in the 4th year as coaches. Campbell is 31-13 at Toledo and has beaten an sec team on there home ground. He is an Ohio native and is familiar with the region. Fuente took over a losing Memphis program and has made it a winner. He grew up in Oklahoma and is familiar with big 12 country. Some of the other names mentioned Jeff Brohm and Tom Herman are interesting but they haven't been coaches long enough at there respective programs to know what type of recruits they are bringing into there program. If a change is made there is no guarantee what the net results would look like but Campbell and Fuente look like the best candidates and the price would be the best bargain

Rich Rod if he wants it. He appears to have peaked last year at Arizona, doubt hes interested in trying to rebuild it again there

Just about anybody would be better than what we currently have. Pay me half of what Holgs is getting and I'll get equal, if not greater, results.

With Ollie not here to protect his bad decision (Dana) and the fact that we cant recruit QB's its looking like a change could happen. Its just funny to see all the Dana lovers run for cover when the signs of poor coaching have been here all along, but one could say this is Dana's best overall team it just does not have the QB play that is needed to win big.

We also have painfully obvious playcalling. If we are going to so obviously run at all costs the run plays need to be creative. Pistol formation draw plays up the gut seems like half of our runs, we need some read option, reverses, tosses, bubble screens to keep the D off balance.

Typical WVU drive:

1st Down - Draw play for 1-2 yards
2nd Down - Incomplete deep pass that is well out of our QB's range to consistently complete
3rd Down - Draw play for 1-2 yards short of the mark

Lyons is protecting Holgorsen now and RR isn't coming here. His next stop is VT with buddy Babcock.
