New AP Poll - Duke up to #5

The new AP poll is out....and we climbed two spots to #5.

Villanova is #1, Virginia #2, Purdue #3 and Oklahoma at #4 in front of us.

The Heels jumped up five spots to #15. Clemson is at #20, and our opponent tonight, Miami, checks in at #25.

Virginia is playing at their ceiling already. We just got in the elevator. I can't wait to play them. Tre needs to be watching tape already. Bagley too.

I think you mean Trae Young at #4 haha. Would be interesting to see the game-plan on how Coach K would try to stop him. The guy is unreal for an average size freshman guard.

As this team gets better we will be a higher seed. We did lose to NC State and to Boston College and our defense up to the last few games has been horrible. We also haven’t faced the other top teams in the ACC UNC, Virginia, Miami, Louisville and Clemson. Our bench hasn’t done much this year up to this point so who knows.

The good thing about the teams you mentioned we haven’t played yet are all at their peak except probably Lville.
It’s to early for seed predictions but as of right now a three isn’t bad Duke still has slot to improve on.

We have Bagley, no one else does, plus our supporting cast ain't too shabby. No other team can get better like we can.

I agree completely. If this teams figures out some decent defense, I really don't think they can be beat if they head into the tournament determined, focused, and playing some D.

OK has a history of getting special players out of the blue. Same with Blake Griffin

Kentucky moved up a few spots too. There RR fans always talking about the gauntlet the SEC is. Georgia, Texas AM, LSU ,Vanderbilt, They just keep coming. The Mt Rushmore of college basketball. 4 wins by a total of 16 points. Really impressive. Not sure any of those teams will even sniff the NCAAT.
