New Alt uniforms

Does anyone have any information if we are doing any type of alt uniform this year. Usually by now it has been announced. It seems to be a tight lipped subject.
I know in the past Frost has said he likes alt uniforms, that it is a good recruiting tool. Also at UCF he had 3 different uniforms made.
I am not sure if he will stick with tradition here or if this is an area he will try to modernize.

Who cares...alternate unis suck, Does Alabala do them? If having alt unis is a deciding factor on having a kid commit, he should commit elsewhere.

If Frost likes them (which he has stated and shown he does)and he feels it will help us pull in a few extra recruits, so be it. I really don't care what they wear as long as they win. I really don't care what Alabama does or doesn't do. Ohio St does, and they have had plenty of success.
I don't believe the attire creates a winning or losing team. My slight support of it is strictly from a recruiting / modernizing stand point. Alabama also has a hell of a recruit base to pick from. We don't. We need to do anything and everything to make ourselves stand out and draw attention. Especially right away. If we starting winning then it won't matter at all. Kids will come. As we have all been reminded, this isn't the 1990's.

I have not heard anything but Frost has made comments about how much the kids like the alternate uniforms. He is open to a different tunnel walk music maybe we will more different uniforms

Agree, I think this is one area he may stray from "tradition" I know he said last week they were going to hold a team vote to see if they wanted to put the area code on the helmets like they did at UCF.

Maybe Frost will bring in some Cream jerseys and pants so we don’t have to wear the surrender all whites.;)

Hopefully we see an all white uni and an all red uni. NCST's all red unis are the cleanest alts in the nation IMO and I know we wore all reds a few times in the 80s.

I like how they went away with the pant stripes on this yrs unis. I hope they incorporate the black adidas cleats so they look like the 1997 uniforms.

Nebraska only has wore all red uniforms once with their original uniforms in 1986..

The others were alternate uniforms worn 2012 against Wisconsin at home and 2014 against Illinois with duck tape numbers and red matte helmet.

See, I'm talking about the '86 all read unis. Not the hideous all red and black duct tape tire track unis in '12 & '14.

12 and 14 didn’t look alike besides red jerseys and pants....

14 was the duck tape uniforms.

In personaly don’t care, just as long as I get tot watch our Huskers play. My favor has to be the black tops. No clue why but when we go with black tops with what ever color numbers on them, it always seems to get great attention and sales. Two, makes me think of it as the blacks shirts ;)
