Fell a bit from #16 after the MSU loss. Need to keep it close in Ames then beat Western Michigan by a bit.

Whether or not, most on this board at the start of the season would have been ecstatic if Iowa had finished 11-2 after the first 13 games, new coach, almost all new players, a fresh start, a new beginning. Now finish it off with at least a record of 12-6 with the remaining 18 Big Ten games. That would be outstanding and possibly a 5 seed in the NCAA tournament.

Agree that 11-2 is a very good start to the Ben era.
Now, going 12-6 the rest of the way in this BIG would be way over expectations..get the statue started.
Realistically I would be very excited if we went 9-9 in the new year.
My pass)fail on this year is making the dance...and that is only due to stirtz.
That is a high hurdle for 1st year coach with new roster of MVC players.
